Composer, Sound Designer
Ant Steep is an Australian composer, sound designer, multi-instrumentalist, and electronic music performer based in Los Angeles.
Ant has had works commissioned by The Australian Open, Motorola, SBS Television Australia, and Chunky Move Dance Company. He composed the original score for the virtual reality feature film The Dream Channel that previewed at Cannes in 2019.
In 2022 Ant has composed music for the feature film Call Me Crazy, the short film Dog Bowl, and collaborated with Spitfire Audio and Labs for the creation of a software instrument
A respected contributor to the Australian electronic music scene and revered DJ, Ant has released music and toured the world as part of Little Beasties, Indigo Children, Fang Junior, and Dimensioneers.
Ant is a former film sound instructor at the Australian College of the Arts. He holds a Masters of Music from the Australian Institute of Music and a Bachelor of Music from Box Hill Institute in Melbourne.
Ant is based in Los Angeles, Ant is working as a film composer, and sound designer, and is an emerging talent in the electronic music community.
