Music Mixing


This course is designed to give students the skills and knowledge needed to mix music. Topics covered in this course include: equalization, compression, reverb, and other effects, as well as advanced techniques such as parallel processing and automation. Students will learn how to use industry-standard software and tools such as Pro Tools, iZotope RX and Waves plug-ins. By the end of the course, students will have the skills needed to create professional-quality mixes.

     Understanding the use of panning and stereo imaging to create a sense of depth and space in a mix. Techniques for creating a consistent and cohesive sound across multiple songs or tracks.
